2018 8th International Conference on Power and Energy Systems

2018 8th International Conference on Power and Energy Systems(ICPES 2018) on December 21-22, 2018 was held simultaneously with ICIAfS2018 ( http://www.iciafs.org/iciafs/) in Galadari Hotel, Colombo. 
At beginning, the conference chair Prof Sisil Kumarawadu, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka delivered welcome message to all the participants.



Prof Udaya Madawala, The University of Auckland, New Zealand and Prof. Michael Pecht, University of Maryland, USAwere the keynote speaker in the morning. Prof Udaya Madawala,'s speech is about "Bi-directional Wireless Grid Interfaces for Electric Vehicles (EVs)" and Prof. Michael Pecht's speech is about "The Era of Embedded Intelligence "
The rest keynote speakers were Prof. Paulo S. D. de Brito, Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre, Portugal. His speech was about "Construction and Demolition Wastes for Energy Production Through Gasification Processes".
Prof Saman K. Halgamuge is from The University of Melbourne, Australia. His Speech Title is Low cost Grid Usage Achieved through Optimization, Forecasting and Energy Storage.
Prof. Dr. Wanyang Dai, Nanjing University, China. His speech title is: Smart Power Scheduling and Security via Blockchain for Internet of Energy, Quantum Cloud-Computing and MIMO Communications
